Stems procumbent or trailing, hairy. Leaf blades narrowly oblong, oblong-elliptic, or oblong-lanceolate, 25–80 × 12–30 mm. Inflorescences usually 3–7-flowered, flowers rarely soli­tary. Flowers: sepals ovate-lanceolate, 6–9 × 3–5 mm, abaxial surface glabrous, margins ciliate; corolla white, 20–23 mm; stamens: filaments villous near base.


Phenology: Flowering May–Sep.
Habitat: Sandy barrens, coastal dunes.
Elevation: 0–50 m.
