Stems procumbent or trailing, hairy. Leaf blades narrowly linear-elliptic, linear-lanceolate, or linear-oblong, 10–18 × 1.5–2 mm, surfaces densely hairy. Inflorescences: flowers solitary. Flowers: sepals ovate to ovate-lanceolate, 4–6 × 3–5 mm, abaxial surface densely villous; corolla white, 8–13 mm; stamens: filaments villous.


Phenology: Flowering May–Jul.
Habitat: Coastal dunes.
Elevation: 0–10 m.
