Leaflet blades narrowly elliptic to linear. Flowers 10–18(–20) mm; calyx lobes usually slightly shorter than tube. Legumes reddish brown to black, glabrous. 2n = 12.
Phenology: Flowering May–Aug.
Habitat: Fields, roadsides, waste areas.
Elevation: 0–2000 m.
