Plants 5–25 cm. Leaf blades: basal 5–20 mm, cauline 0.5–2.5 mm, margins shallowly to deeply incised, especially toward base. Flowers: petals 1–2.5 mm, equaling or slightly longer than sepals, margins minutely 2–5-toothed near base. Seeds 0.5 mm.
Distribution
Ala., Fla., Ga., La., Miss., N.C., S.C., Va., West Indies (Cuba).
