Leaves linear to broadly lanceolate, faces glabrous or moderately villous. Involucres: bases densely pilose, sometimes stipitate-glandular as well. 2n = 38, 57, 76, 95.
Phenology: Flowering May–Sep.
Habitat: Alpine slopes and ridges to Arctic tundra
Elevation: 0–1500 m
