|discussion=<p><i>Pseudognaphalium macounii</i> is recognized by its stipitate-glandular, proximally glabrescent stems, bicolor and decurrent leaves, relatively large and many-flowered heads, and hyaline, shiny phyllaries. Reports of <i>P. macounii</i> from Texas are based on specimens of <i>P. viscosum</i>.</p>
