Plants prostrate, sparsely mat-forming, 0.1–0.2 m. Leaves: petiole 1–3 mm; blade narrow-elliptic (diamond-shaped), 0.8–1.2 × 0.4–0.7 cm.


Phenology: Flowering winter–early spring.
Habitat: Coastal prairies
Elevation: 0-100 m

Discussion

Subspecies hearstiorum is known from the northern coastal region of San Luis Obispo County.
