Habitat: Arid slopes, roadsides, grasslands, sagebrush scrub, dry woodlands, montane forests

Idaho, Nev., Utah, Wyo.
Discussion
Variety davisii occurs in the northern Great Basin region and adjacent mountains from northern Nevada and southern Idaho to eastern Wyoming and northern Utah.
