Stems usually glabrous, rarely hairy. Leaf blades narrowly triangular to widely ovate, not lobed or compound, 15–150 × 20–100 mm, margins entire, surfaces glabrous or ± hairy. Inflorescences usually 3–20+-flowered umbelliform clusters, flowers rarely solitary. Flowers: sepals oblong, 6–8 mm, apex rounded, abaxial surface glabrous or hairy; corolla yellow, 30–35 mm.


Phenology: Flowering year-round.
Habitat: Disturbed sites, abandoned plantings.
Elevation: 0–10 m.

Distribution

Introduced; Fla., Old World subtropics and tropics, introduced also in Mexico, West Indies, Central America, South America.
