Inflorescences: most proximal bracts of inflorescence obtuse to mucronate, usually much shorter than inflorescence. , apex obtuse to mucronate. Capsules well exserted from perianth, 4.5–7 mm, apex conic or rounded proximal to persistent style.
Phenology: Flowering and fruiting late spring–early summer.
Habitat: Wet gravelly soils of snowmelt basins
Elevation: 400–3800 m
Distribution
Greenland, N.W.T., Nunavut, Yukon, Alaska, Colo., Mont., Wyo., Eurasia.
