Discussion
Variety praebens is encountered infrequently over its scattered range in California (Inyo, Lassen, Los Angeles, Mono, Plumas, and Sierra counties), Idaho (Blaine and Elmore counties), and Nevada (Carson City, Douglas, Eureka, Humboldt, Lander, Storey, and Washoe counties).
