Sepals 13–15 mm, lobes elongate, calyx length 2 times fruit.
Phenology: Flowering May.
Habitat: Rocky limestone
Elevation: 1300–1500 m

Variety eremicola is known from the Emigrant Canyon area of Inyo County.
