Stems 4–20 cm, scabrous, pubescent, hairs 2–4 times as long as broad. Leaf blades narrowly linear to lanceolate, 1.5–5 cm × 2–10(–15) mm. Petals dusty pink.
Phenology: Flowering summer.
Habitat: Serpentine outcrops
Elevation: 1200-1500 m
Discussion
Subspecies angustifolia intergrades freely with subsp. greenei, which is the common and more widely occurring form of this species. Subspecies angustifolia is found in Colusa, Mendocino, Shasta, Tehama, and Trinity counties.
