B.C., Ala., Calif., Fla., Ga., S.C., Tex., s Europe (Mediterranean region), considered cosmopolitan via introduction.
Discussion
Subspecies 3 (1 in the flora).
The flowers of Polycarpon tetraphyllum are said to be homogamous, self-pollinated, and often cleistogamous.
