Discussion
Of conservation concern.
Chlorogalum pomeridianum var. minus differs from the other two varieties mainly in the absence of numerous persistent coarse fibers coating the bulb and in its comparatively diminutive stature. It may be confused with C. grandiflorum, which also has membranous bulb coats and undulate leaf blades, but var. minus can be distinguished by the presence of slender pedicels that are as long or nearly as long as the perianth.
