Perennials, ± fleshy, rhizomatous. Stems usually trailing, rarely decumbent. Leaf blades lance-oblong, lanceolate, or linear, 100–120(–210) × 20–40 mm, base rounded, surfaces glabrous. Peduncles glabrous. Flowers: sepals oblong or ovate, 12–20 mm, outers 12–14(–17) × 6–7 mm, inners 15–20 × 7–8 mm, coriaceous, surfaces glabrous; corolla ± white, throat purple inside, funnelform, 70–100 mm, limb 70–80 mm diam.
Phenology: Flowering Apr–Sep.
Habitat: Desert grasslands, oak woodlands.
Elevation: 900–1900 m.
