Discussion
Hunzikeria texana is limited to Edwards, Kinney, and Val Verde counties at the western edge of the Edwards Plateau. In this species, the anthers are of two sizes due to abortion of one of the thecae in each of the adaxial stamens. There are typically only five seeds per capsule.
