Inflorescences 1–4 cm; bracts cream, 1–2 × 0.5–2 cm. Flowers: lateral sepals 1–1.8 × 0.5 cm, others 0.8–1.2 × 0.3–0.5 cm; petals oblong, 1–1.5 × 0.4–0.7 cm, base slightly saccate, apex rounded; stamens 0.6–1.1 cm; anthers horizontal at anthesis, 1–1.5 mm diam.; ovary 3–5 × 2.5–5 mm, glabrous; style 3–5 × 2–3 mm; stigma 5+ mm diam., apex depressed. Berries 5–8(–10) diam. Seeds ca. 0.2–0.4 mm diam.


Phenology: Flowering late spring–summer.
Habitat: Moist, coniferous or mixed-deciduous forests
Elevation: 30-1800 m
