Scales few, very narrow, usually present on costae abaxially; blades minutely pubescent or glabrous adaxially.
Habitat: Riverbanks and moist canyons
Elevation: 0–100 m
Distribution
Tex., Mexico, West Indies in Jamaica, Central America in Belize, Guatemala.
