Glabrous, basal leaves (relatively thin). phyllaries 8, 13, (or 21), 5–6 mm.
Phenology: Flowering early Jun–mid Jul.
Habitat: Rocky stream banks, well-shaded woodlands
Elevation: 500–1500 m
