Plants silvery; caudices often much branched. Basal leaves: petioles of inner leaves with dense, ascending hairs 1–1.5 mm; leaflets 30–60 per side, tightly overlapping, mostly not individually distinguishable, densely sericeous or villous. Inflorescences 5–30-flowered, 1–6 cm diam.


Phenology: Flowering summer.
Habitat: Damp alkali-crusted flats, in saltbush communities
Elevation: 600–700 m

Discussion

Of conservation concern.

Variety eremica is known only from Ash Meadows, Nye County.
