Twigs short-hairy and with longer white hairs, eglandular. Leaf blades tomentose abaxially. Inflorescences short-hairy and with longer white hairs.
Phenology: Flowering winter–early spring.
Habitat: Maritime chaparral on dacite buttes
Elevation: 200-300 m
Discussion
Of conservation concern.
Subspecies daciticola is found near Morro Bay in the outer Central Coast Range.
