Habitat: Limestone substrates of rocky summits, talus, steep slopes, rocky ridges, fine soils, red sandstone, gravelly and gypseous soils, herbaceous communities on slopes, open Douglas-fir and limber pine communities
Elevation: 1800-3200 m
