Scapes suberect to prostrate, thinly glandular-puberulent, slightly pilose. Inflorescences cymose. Peduncles 0.3–0.5(–1) cm.


Phenology: Flowering Jun–Oct.
Habitat: Granitic outcrops, conifer woodlands
Elevation: 1800-2300 m

Discussion

Variety shevockii is restricted to The Needles, Baker Point, and Little Kern River Gorge areas of Kern and Tulare counties.
