Trichomes spreading throughout (tangled). Basal leaves: blade margins dentate. Fruits inflated; ovules (4–)8 per ovary. 2n = 8, 16.


Phenology: Flowering May–Jun.
Habitat: Steep limey banks, rock and sand road cuts
Elevation: (2100-)3300-4100 m
