Leaves: petioles 0–2 mm; blades 3–7 cm × 2–6 mm. Involucres 8–10 mm. Phyllaries grading into similar-sized peduncular bracts. Cypselae 2–3 mm.
Phenology: Flowering Apr–May.
Habitat: Flats, gravel banks, arroyos, pine-oak woodlands
Elevation: 2000–2500 m
Distribution
Ariz., N.Mex., Mexico.
