Racemes lax. Fruiting pedicels (2.5–)3.5–7(–8) mm. Flowers: petals linear to linear-oblanceolate, 5–7.5(–8.5) × 0.5–1(–1.5) mm, claw 2–3.5(–4) mm; median nectar glands present. Fruits 1–3(–3.8) cm. 2n = 26.

Habitat: Alkaline meadows and flats
Elevation: 1800-2600 m

Of conservation concern.

Subspecies ovalifolium is known from White Pine County, Nevada, and adjacent Garfield and Iron counties, Utah.
