Racemes (congested), elongated in fruit; central rachis (3.7–)4.5–12(–16.5) cm. Fruiting pedicels horizontal to divaricate, straight, whitish, stout, (5–)6–9(–13) mm, moderately flattened at base. Flowers: petals white, (5–)6–9(–10) mm; gynophore stout, (0.5–)1–3 mm. Fruits usually horizontal or divaricate, rarely divaricate-ascending, incurved, (1.4–)1.9–3.7(–4.5) cm. 2n = 26.


Phenology: Flowering Jun–Oct.
Habitat: Desert flats, shrub communities, alkaline grounds
Elevation: 600-1800 m
