Leaves: ocrea prominently veined, (6.5–)8–12 mm, distal part disintegrating, veins persistent, brown; blade green, narrowly elliptic to lanceolate, 5–8 times as long as wide. Flowers: perianth 3.5–5.5 mm; tepals slightly overlapping, green with pink margins, oblong to obovate, apex flat, flared. Achenes with apex exserted 1–2.5 mm from perianth, 4.1–5.5(–6.5) mm, 1.5–2.6 times as long as wide, ± smooth.
Phenology: Flowering Jul–Oct.
Habitat: Coastal beaches, dunes, and shores
Elevation: 0-10 m
