Leaves: petiole short stipitate-glandular or sparsely long stipitate-glandular; blade pentagonal, deeply lobed. Inflorescences short stipitate-glandular. Flowers: hypanthium hemispheric, 1–3.5 × 1–3.5 mm (1 times long as wide), short stipitate-glandular; sepals 0.5–1.5 mm, apex broadly rounded; petals 0.4–1.4 mm wide; styles 1.2–3.9 mm.


Phenology: Flowering Apr–Jun.
Habitat: Mixed evergreen forest on limestone or serpentine-derived soils
Elevation: 100-1800 m

Discussion

Variety macropetala is known from the Klamath and Siskiyou mountains.
