Stolons spreading-hairy proximally, sometimes ascending-hairy or glabrous distally. Leaves: petiole spreading-hairy; leaflet blade usually dark green to slightly bluish green, sometimes bright green, not glaucous, terminal leaflets oblong-ovate or slightly rhombic, not leathery, margins sharply serrate in distal 1/2 to throughout, teeth: relative number 0.2–0.8. Peduncles usually ± spreading-hairy proximally, appressed ascending-hairy or glabrous distally. Pedicels appressed-hairy or glabrous. Flowers 12.1–19.5 mm diam. (pistillate), 15.2–23.6 mm diam. (bisexual or staminate). Fruits: bractlets clasping, spreading, or ± reflexed. 2n = 56.
