Stems: twigs ± strongly flexuous; thorns on twigs few to plentiful. Leaf blades elliptic to narrowly ovate, lobes 2–4 per side, sinuses shallow (LII 8–15%), lobe apex subacute to obtuse. Stamens 20. Pomes red.
