Herbs perennial, caulescent; caudex superficial. Hairs basifixed, pilose and tomentulose. Stems single or few. Stipules distinct. Leaves odd-pinnate, petiolate; leaflets 17–35. Racemes densely flowered, flowers initially horizontal, later declined. Calyx tubes deeply campanulate or subcylindric. Corollas pale yellow, banner recurved through 45°, keel apex obtuse. Legumes persistent, sessile, erect, plumply ovoid- or ellipsoid-acuminate, swollen but somewhat obcompressed, slightly incurved, ± bilocular. Seeds 28–45.
