Astragalus hornii

Astragalus hornii has an unusual geographic dis­tribution: the upper San Joaquin Valley and the western edge of the Mojave Desert in California, and the western shore of Pyramid Lake in Nevada. The habitat for the species in the United States has been largely destroyed, with most collections more than 50 years old (D. Isely 1998). Variety minutiflorus M. E. Jones is known from Baja California.
