Leaves 5–17 × 0.6–1 cm; blade dull grayish green, linear-lanceolate. Scape 5–6 dm. Flowers: perianth white, cylindrical, 6–8 mm, lobes spreading. Fruits: beaks gradually tapering distally.
Phenology: Flowering year round.
Habitat: Everglades, pinelands
