Inflorescence branches glabrous. Flowers: calyx lobes glabrous; distal end of differentiated area on corolla lobes cordate to deeply 2-lobed.


Phenology: Flowering late spring–sum­mer.
Habitat: Dry, open, rocky, mostly pinyon-juniper woods.
Elevation: 1300–2500 m.
