Herbage glabrous. Leaf blades ± triangular, basal lobes spreading, usually 2-pointed, basal sinus rounded. Bracts distinct from sepals, 18–34 × (12–)14–26(–28) mm, proximally strongly keeled or saccate, margins usually slightly overlapping, not closely enfolding sepals. Flowers: corolla pink, 47–64 mm; stamens (24–)25–30(–32) mm.
Phenology: Flowering Jun–Sep.
Habitat: Disturbed sites, hedges, roadsides, woodland edges.
