Herbage: hairs (dry) usually gray, sometimes dull brown. Leaf blades narrowly triangular, 30–45 × 30–40 mm, basal lobes 1(–2)-pointed, apex usually acute, sometimes obtuse. Peduncles 6–9 cm.


Phenology: Flowering Apr–Jul.
Habitat: Chaparral, dry slopes, grassy, rocky sites.
Elevation: (80–)600–2100 m.
