Pedicels not papillate. Flowers not papillate. Capsules globose to depressed-globose, not api­cally pointed. Seeds (1 or)2–4.

Habitat: Hosts: Abronia, Acmispon, Ade­nostoma, Agastache, Ambrosia, Artemisia, Asclepias, Baccharis, Convolvulus, Corethrogyne, Croton, Eriodictyon, Eriogonum, Hemizonia, Holo­carpha, Iva, Lupinus, Portulaca, Salvia, Spartium, and others.
Elevation: 0–2500 m.
