Herbs somewhat woody at base. Leaf blades glabrous. Styles 4–5 mm, glabrous. 2n = 14.


Phenology: Flowering Jun–Sep.
Habitat: Crevices of broken limestone.
Elevation: 1300–1700 m.

Discussion

Subspecies specicola is known from the south rim of the Grand Canyon in Coconino County.
