Sepals narrowly lanceolate, enlarging to 7–8 mm in fruit; petals 5–8 mm, 1.5–2 times as long as sepals. 2n = 52 (Peru).


Phenology: Flowering Mar–Oct, after rains.
Habitat: Gulleys, among boulders in mountains
Elevation: 2400-2700 m
