Perianth: tube 10–20 mm, limb seldom more than 15 mm diam. Fruits 5–8 mm, strongly rugose veined, often appearing pitted.
Phenology: Flowering winter–summer.
Habitat: Sandy soils, creosote bushscrub
Elevation: 0-1000 m
Distribution
Ariz., Calif., Nev., Utah, nw Mexico (Baja California, Sonora).
Discussion
Under favorable moisture conditions, Abronia villosa var. villosa may flower in late summer and fall.
