Leaves not imbricate, ovate-lanceolate, slightly concave, to 1.3 mm; margins denticulate distally; apex narrowly acuminate; alar region restricted to 1/4 leaf margin.
Phenology: Capsules mature fall.
Habitat: Bark or soil at base of trees, boulders
Elevation: moderate to high elevations
