Leaves 2–8 cm. Ray corollas 2–3 mm. Disc corollas 1–3 mm. Cypselae (3–)5–10 mm; pappi 2–5 mm. 2n = 20.
Phenology: Flowering Sep–Oct.
Habitat: Alkaline or gypseous soils
Elevation: 900–1700 m
Distribution
N.Mex., Tex., Mexico (Chihuahua, Durango, Nuevo León, San Luis Potosí).
Discussion
Dicranocarpus parviflorus is a gypsophile that ranges throughout the Chihuahuan Desert.
