Leaf blades of principal vegetative shoots linear. Inflorescences terminal, 9–25-flowered cymes.
Phenology: Flowering late spring-mid summer.
Habitat: Cliffs, talus slopes, rocky meadows, open woods or aspen groves, scab-land
Elevation: 300-3100 m
