Flowers 10–27 per inflorescence; 12–18 mm. Fruits 6–12 × 7–16(–24) mm; wings well developed, truncate or tapering to beaklike apex of fruit body.


Phenology: Flowering year-round.
Habitat: Sandy soils, coastal scrub, lees of dunes near strand
Elevation: 0-50 m
