Stems 26–55 cm; teeth all black or with obscure white margins, 8–14, incurved.
Phenology: Cones maturing in late summer, or cones overwintering and shedding spores in spring.
Habitat: Lakeshores, riverbanks, ditches, wet woods, tundra
Elevation: 0–1500 m
Distribution
B.C., Yukon, Alaska including the Aleutian Islands, Wash.
