Differences from Print Version

The web representation of the Flora of North America differs from the print version in two ways. Firstly, a number of corrections have been made to the Flora content, based on changes identified by the FNA community post-publication. Secondly, assumptions of authorship have been made as required to allow for full functionality of the website. See the list of differences below.

Content differences

  • Corrections to V27 based on the errata found at the end of V28
  • The name of the tribe “Cynareae” has been changed to “Cardueae” in Asteraceae
  • Please view Category:Revised Since Print for a full list of modified treatments

Assumptions

  • The illustrator for all Brassiceae species has been indicated as Yevonn Wilson-Ramsey
