Flowering shoots: leaf blades 6–9 mm. Inflorescences 2–14-flowered or flowers solitary. Pedicels 1.1–3.7 mm. Flowers: sepals ca. 4 mm; petals 5–6 mm. Seeds ca. 0.5 mm.
Phenology: Flowering late summer–fall.
Habitat: Rocky slopes and cliffs, pinyon to Douglas fir woodlands
Elevation: 2400-2500 m
