Leaves usually 1.5–6 mm wide, rarely wider. Fruiting bracteoles 2(–4)-winged, samaralike; achenes vertical. 2n = 18.
Phenology: Flowering summer.
Habitat: Fine-textured, often saline and seleniferous substrates
Elevation: 1200-2500 m
Distribution
Ariz., Colo., Utah.
Discussion
Zuckia brandegeei var. brandegeei is found on the Entrada, Summerville, Morrison, Moenkopi, Chinle, Shinarump/Mossback, and Cutler formations.
